Discussion: Michael Flynn Claimed Drug Cartels Help Radical Islamists Infiltrate U.S. Border

Flynn, in an interview with Breitbart’s Matthew Boyle surfaced Thursday night by CNN’s KFILE team, said he had seen pictures of Arabic-language signs near the United States border that would help people under orders from ā€œradical Islamist countriesā€ā€”he mentioned Iran specifically—to cross over without detection.

Yeah. Farsi-speaking Shia Iranians are going to put up Arab language signs to direct their Sunni Muslim friends how to infiltrate the US, because nobody would ever be suspicious of an Arab language sign on the US border, and you know, whip out Google Translate or something and foil the whole nefarious plot.

And I’m disappointed in him for forgetting the part about them carrying Ebola. He’ll have to be more on the ball as the National Security Advisor.

Here’s the question I want a Dem Senator to ask at Generals Flynn’s and Morris’ confirmation hearings?

ā€œHave you ever adhered, or do you now adhere, to the concept that the United States can launch a first strike, limited nuclear engagement against another nation with nuclear arms and survive with acceptable losses?ā€ Yes or no and if yes, please explain; take your time.

If so, then that is another tragic by-product of the Reagan’s and Oliver North’s crackpot plan to fund the Contras.

Let’s not whisper - let’s shout - HOW DID THIS IDIOT GET TRUMP’S EAR? When will the media start calling the lies of the trumpers ā€œLIESā€?

So we’re putting a guy in charge of national security who can’t tell the difference between fiction and reality. Gosh, that just makes so much sense…

If by Media, you mean the NYT, LAT, WAPO, etc. ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, NPR – never.

I don’t think Flynn will need a hearing, but Mattis’s should be a hoot.

ā€œI’ve seen the photos! No, I’m not going to produce them for you, what’s the matter, don’t you trust me?ā€

Yes, thanks. I forgot that Flynn doesn’t require confirmation. Well, maybe a ā€œreporterā€ can ask him. Boy would phone line go dead, or what?

General ā€œBuckā€ Turgidson: Mr. President, we are rapidly approaching a moment of truth both for ourselves as human beings and for the life of our nation. Now, truth is not always a pleasant thing. But it is necessary now to make a choice, to choose between two admittedly regrettable, but nevertheless distinguishable, postwar environments: one where you got twenty million people killed, and the other where you got a hundred and fifty million people killed.

President Merkin Muffley: You’re talking about mass murder, General, not war!

General ā€œBuckā€ Turgidson: Mr. President, I’m not saying we wouldn’t get our hair mussed. But I do say no more than ten to twenty million killed, tops. Uh, depending on the breaks.

Due to this article, here’s that Vox article on John Kelly.

Once again, this is why civilian control of the military is important.

No hearings for the NSA - since it’s not a cabinet post the Senate has no say.

Perhaps the signs near the Mexico border that Flynn is referring to are the ones associated with our fine Tucson Middle Eastern markets or restaurants.

If Group A is bad, and Group B is bad, then Group A helps Group B.

Interesting and non conventional use of logic, that’s for sure.

Because they think their minds work similarly. It’s all fear, resentment, and conspiracies, with cartoonish bugaboos leapfrogging over each other this way. You saw off the top of the skull and lift it and you’ll see a Technicolor funhouse in there. He’s supposed to be good at what he does but I’d prefer someone next in line who isn’t mad as a hatter.

Flynn is going to go on n off ā€˜radio silence’.

On account of these reports, he knows that he’s compromised and anything that he says in the future will likely contradict previous statements.

Why would the Radical Islams need the make a deal with the cartels when they can just walk across the Canadian border?
