It would appear that five days after Cohen stroked a check from his home equity line to pay off Stormy, there were five transactions among several the same day in which the Trump Organization billed the Trump Campaign that, by the most amazing coinkydink, just happened to add up to $129,999.72.
Now maybe this is just a coincidence. The mere fact that Trump Organization is siphoning this kind of donated OPM out of Trump Campaign is the kind of thing that ought to have already had FBI agents breaking down doors with warrants if this was a normal presidency, of course.
But if it’s not a coincidence, there is zero chance federal laws weren’t broken. Tax evasion, structuring, money laundering, wire fraud. Election law violations. All in play.
