Discussion: Michael Brown's Stepdad: 'Wrong' To Blame Me For Unrest In Ferguson

Discussion for article #230761

Leave It To Beejer (He obviously looked through his sock drawer and found one that hadn’t been banned. Before today, this sock hadn’t been used since June)

So, Wilson can be protected by the Fourth Amendment because an “objectively reasonable” view of his actions stem from his innate racist fear of demonic black people.

…But when some black kid gets shot by a cop, suddenly it becomes unreasonable for the parents to be given some leeway in expressing their frustration, and legitimate fear that their kids are being killed with impunity.

Got it.

Actually? chickfillay just came off the last ban.
As is Hodnobitch’s M.O.-- he’ll use a known Beej sock to go ‘flammable’–
cuz he knows the next one will be a ban until 2042-- or thereabouts.

Everybody get your Gallagher-sheet-plastic ready!
Someone’s been in his ex-wife’s medicine cabinet again.

J’accuse! You are neither a commie, nor a mommie.

Or

Commenter, I served with Commie Mommies. I knew Commie Mommies. Commie Mommies were friends of mine. Commenter, you’re no Commie Mommie.

No, that’s not it. African-Americans challenging authority is against the law. Sometimes punishable by death, no trial needed.

Where “challenging authority” sometimes means “being African-American”

So, I suppose it would okay with you if black fathers expressed their grief by stringing up whiteys, is that right? They can express their grief in any way the deem fit even if it violates that law? Fine. Just keep it in your own neighborhood, then, if you value your lives.

As long as you keep all the psychopath white LEOs in yours!

How about you being honest? Peaceful protestors were assaulted by the police since the beginning, and STILL tried to block the looters & arsonists. Lots of right wing whites explicitly call for their political opponents to be murdered, and aren’t held responsible when their demands are acted on.

Oh yes, and someone burned down the Brown’s church & the insurance company won’t pay because they claim it was due to the riot. You think that was done by blacks? Whites get away with that sort of thing all the time. Or are you unaware of 200 years of how black people have been treated in this country, including whites burning down their churches?

OK, I’m done. Have fun in your echo chamber.

And you in your separate but equal mindset.

My thought exactly. A scapegoat is always useful, but a black scapegoat so much better. And now the Ferguson police are looking into it, a department which has shown its complete lack of objectivity.

You’re free to stay in yours.

Mr. Head is right, of course; but he’s also black, and therein lies the rub.
