This campaign promise will backfire badly on Orangeman!
Admit it - didn’t we each think something along the lines of the President Pena’s words when we first heard Trump blather on about the Wall and Mexico paying for it?
“As the Mexican government has always stated, our country will not pay, under any circumstances, for a wall or physical barrier built on U.S. territory along the Mexican border,” the statement released Sunday to several news outlets said. “This statement is not part of a negotiating strategy, but rather a principle of national sovereignty and dignity.”
And yet for Trump - it is worth shutting the Govt down. Alienating our national neighbor, and offending most of the world. All because he get’s a good crowd response to the line in his rallies. He is - our national shame.
" but rather a principle of national sovereignty and dignity.”
Por favor Senor, use smaller and simpler words when communicating with our president. I can count 3 in that sentence alone that he does not understand.
He’s not worried. At his next rally he can claim every mother on the planet is a whore and regain some of his lost popularity.
I’ve gotta go with Mexico having the better argument here - and it has the added feature of being much more logically, reasonably and coherently stated than Trump’s rambling applaud line.
The Mexican government said its position at the renegotiation table continues to be “serious and constructive” and said it will not “negotiate NAFTA, nor any other aspect of the bilateral relationship, through social media.”
In other words, find some adults, ´cos we ain´t talking directly to Trump anymore.
A neighbor has a garage full of snakes. They’re illegal to own. They eat rats and mice at an alarming rate. The guy next door takes advantage of the situation and sells snake guy the rats and mice.
Who is the bad guy here, the snake owner, or the guy selling him the rodents?
Which matches the number of words he does understand along with most others in the third grade.
A bit O/T but has he victimized himself yet on how “the worst storm in history” has personally made his life harder and how no other president has dealt with a worse situation?
Shitler is def going to have to go in his room, close the door, and break something now.
GOP: Duh! The government that made the regulation making snakes illegal.
Don’t forget the Kellyanne type who is raising and releasing the rodents into the neighborhood in the first place.
Donald Trump supposedly authored a book titled “The Art of the Deal.” That’s hilarious!!!
The nicest touch by far was the Mexican government offered to send troops to help in the rescue of the people of Houston, just as it did in the wake of Katrina.
So far Cockholster hasn’t replied to their generous offer of humanitarian aid. Perhaps if they had offered to send their best gardeners to help restore the area golf courses he would feel differently about Mexico’s selfless generosity.
Update: Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has accepted Mexico’s offer of assistance.
Around this time, Schwartz, who was one of the leading young magazine writers of the day, stopped by Trump’s office, in Trump Tower. Schwartz had written about Trump before. In 1985, he’d published a piece in New York called “A Different Kind of Donald Trump Story,” which portrayed him not as a brilliant mogul but as a ham-fisted thug who had unsuccessfully tried to evict rent-controlled and rent-stabilized tenants from a building that he had bought on Central Park South. Trump’s efforts—which included a plan to house homeless people in the building in order to harass the tenants—became what Schwartz described as a “fugue of failure, a farce of fumbling and bumbling.” An accompanying cover portrait depicted Trump as unshaven, unpleasant-looking, and shiny with sweat. Yet, to Schwartz’s amazement, Trump loved the article. He hung the cover on a wall of his office, and sent a fan note to Schwartz, on his gold-embossed personal stationery. “Everybody seems to have read it,” Trump enthused in the note, which Schwartz has kept.
“I was shocked,” Schwartz told me. “Trump didn’t fit any model of human being I’d ever met. He was obsessed with publicity, and he didn’t care what you wrote.” He went on, “Trump only takes two positions. Either you’re a scummy loser, liar, whatever, or you’re the greatest. I became the greatest. He wanted to be seen as a tough guy, and he loved being on the cover.” Schwartz wrote
No it won’t backfire on Dolt 45 because the human jockstraps supporting him are sufficiently brainwashed to slobber at his feet.
The Mexican President has reiterated this same point several times already. It only strengthens him in his own country…considering his approval ratings in Mexico are so low, that’s a feat even The Donald didn’t anticipate. Keep it up, Rump…you’re a fucking embarrassment. Anything he’s for, the rest of the world can gleefully say they’re against without a lick of blowback by any of their own constituents. Rump is a fucking pariah.
This is still the best response to Donnie Dumbass on the fucking wall for my money:
So refreshing to see a politician tell it like it is.
Trump: I will invade mexico and get all the money I want. It will be even better as I will get the invasion money from China and will never pay back.
FOX: Very Very Smart for Sir Trump to think of it. Free money for everyone.
I wish I could share your optimism , but in Trump World, Mexico always pays for the wall. Fake media and all that. Inside TrumpWorld , truth dare not speak it’s name
I just have to say… I enjoy Fox’s trolling of Trump. The videos are both hilarious, while articulating intelligent audiences - giving them a second level of hilarity when compared to the inane nonsense of behavior of Trump.
