I call perro y pony espectáculo. This guy “escapes” then he’s “captured” then repeat blah blah blah. He can come and go as he wishes, almost like he was being held in a remote, un-guarded Bird Sanctuary in the North Western United States.

I’m not sure about that. Shorty’s approach to murder is more of a mass-production thing, like Henry Ford—he’s thought to have killed hundreds and maybe thousands of people. I doubt he did all that without a bit of help. I’ve also read he has a $100 million bounty out on Trump. I’m assuming he knows a lot of violent guys, has a good memory and a bad temper, and is not the forgiving sort.

Guzman was recaptured seven months after he escaped from a maximum security prison
New rule: if anybody escapes from a “maximum security prison”, you are not allowed to call it that any more. Clearly there is a higher level of security.

It’s only not max. security for this level of true psycho. Any guard that noticed something amiss could easily have his entire family slaughtered. The guy is a walking nightmare.

Trump: I don’t buy this. As usual they are lying. If he is arrested, why are there so many rapes still happening in US. I tell you, he is here and doing what he does best: Rape.
I trust the Mexican government can find a more secure location in which to imprison this man? Perhaps one without escape tunnels?

Today the Mexican government made the statement that this arrest showed that no criminal was beyond the reach of Mexican law. The whole country erupted in hysterical laughter. Not only is the president himself guilty of doing favors for the corporation that built his wife’s mansion, but the other criminal gangs, who are actually violent, not only run free, but when citizens organize to protect themselves, the government sends in the military to take away their weapons.
For what it’s worth, the other criminal gangs are mostly into extortion, murder, kidnapping, human trafficking, and other crimes against people, while El Chapo worked only in sending drugs to the US. The contrast is shown by the protest marches in his area when he was arrested vs. the citizens in other areas banding together to fight their local crime gangs. Chapo didn’t allow crimes against people in his area and the Mexican government not only allows it, but they actually engage in it themselves. Witness the 43 students who were killed by the police with the acquiescence of the military in Ayotzinapan.
