The Newark Star-Ledger hasn’t called it yet. It has Hugin up 50-46.4 with 6% of the vote counted.
This may have been a hasty call.

New Jersey hasn’t elected a Republican to the Senate since 1972.
And even at that, the Republican (re)elected in 1972 was Clifford P. Case, a “Rockefeller [read: sane] Republican.”

Donnelly lost in Indiana. So much for flipping the Senate. It was a longshot.
