Her next campaign should be helping former Eastern European bikini models cope with the stress of a philandering husband.

And you keep at it. So yes is a big “FU plebeians!”. Not that I am terribly disappointed of Melania, she is probably BFF with Louise Linton…

Some brows are only raised with botox. (And they never come down.)

Dear Mrs First Lady
I am glad U R making people nice online. When your man bragged about grabbing pussies, U wore a big pink pussy bow blouse and a smirk. Y R U such a hypocrite? I’m calling you on it.

No Melania, it is your husband’s cyber-bullying that raises eyebrows, anger, and fervent hopes for him to just disappear into the oblivion he so richly deserves.

O Melania there is so much here to unpack…eyebrows get raised because: 1. people wonder if you are as clueless as you act; 2. your husband is president and is the world’s biggest cyberbully and THIS is what you choose as your issue?; 3. eyebrows go up further as we wonder what it is you are even trying to do here and if you have any idea how to go about accomplishing whatever your goal is and 4. eyebrows hit our hairlines as we ask what the hell is wrong with you that you stay with that monster you married!

Then a few tears fall as we remember the real First Ladies and how they have been sullied.

OT Ruh roh.

I wonder if Melanoma will be accompanying the Philanderer in Chief to the trial?

“Thomas Jefferson made clear that the president’s responsibilities are 24/7, every single day no matter what he or she is doing,” Kasowitz said during oral arguments in December.

Yeah, Marc, “no matter what he or she is doing.”

Am I the only person in the world who finds this all oddly charming? She’s the absolute worst person to take on this role for obvious reasons but she could have quietly dropped it and she hasn’t. It’s wrong and crazy enough that I have to wonder if maybe she’s for real about it.

one of the biggest deficits in this administration is self-awareness, second only perhaps to sense of irony…

Even if I give her credit for being sincere about this (and I’m not sure I do), she’s guilty of a kind of bullying herself. It may not have been via social media, but she gladly agreed with her husband when he doubted President Obama’s citizenship and legitimacy and she questioned the character in public of those who accused her husband of aggressive behavior. That isn’t charming or acceptable or okay in my book.

The only thing I can take from the fact that it’s so counter-intuitive for her to take this on is a slight curiosity whether she’s trying to tell us something and I’m kind of tired of her coded messages if she is.

IF it’s as you say, then she’ll have to show me more than she has with regard to cyberbullying.

“I believe together we can make a real difference in encouraging positive behaviors on social media,” she added.

“I am well aware that people are skeptical of me discussing this topic,” the first lady said.

OK, but are you aware of the reason for their skepticism?

Not sure about “charming” but it’s certainly interesting in a good way.

:smirk: May she have far more success in fighting cyberbullying than she has had in fighting adultery.
