Discussion: Megyn Kelly: Why Use 'Hands Up, Don't Shoot' If It May Be Based On 'A Lie'

Discussion for article #230835

Why go with something that may be a lie? From the Network that gave us nonstop coverage of Whitewater, Vince Foster, the Swiftboat Liars for Truth, the Obama went to a Madrassa story, the birth certificate controversy, Fast and Furious, and, of course, BENGHAAAAAZIIIIII!

So what do you think? Does Fox test on-air talent prospects for the ability to completely suppress the self-awareness related gag reflex, or do they have some neurological procedure or drug cocktail they can administer to induce it?

Megyn, the Dubya admin lied their asses off to start a war that killed 4,493 American troops and cost more than $2T. I eagerly await your cross-examination of Dick “Dick” Cheney the next time he appears on Fox News.

Megan might be thought of by many as a bimbozilla but she is really a smart well educated woman. That is what makes her statement worse. She knows that it is entirely possible, and probably likely, nobody is lying. That is why we needed a trial in the Brown case.

Why use the “hands up, don’t shoot” gesture? Well because it is very, very emblematic of the very serious problem we are facing in America. A lot of white police officers treat blacks, and especially black teenagers, differently than they do whites. Those cops are not being held to a professional standard but, instead, are more often than not being protected by other police officers and prosecutors.

She’s the best automaton Ailes has on staff.
He can count on her being able to slant in any direction.
She needs not even be consistent in one direction either.
And that’s due to her every-so-often penchant for calling out another
Fox talking head, showing momentary compassion,
or the more-than-occasional low-cut cocktail dress.

While not a ‘Bimbozilla’ as you’ve characterized the genre–
she does have all of the customary traits in her toolbelt.

That’s she is intelligent?
Simply means she’d sell herself to the highest bidder–
independent of her station in life.

Something that truly never ceases to amaze the black folks I know is the way white folks, especially middle class and up, interact with police. They can be indignant, rude, testy, and combative and yet they’ll still walk away without even so much as a citation, let alone arrest. If a black person in the same situation so much as questions why he’s being stopped, he might face execution.

Also, I’m so tired of conservatives lecturing people of color. They don’t do this to white people, rich or poor. It’s this ceaseless lecture on how we should behave, what should we do, how we should talk, where we should go, how we should dress, etc. And then when they find the one or two black folks who agree, they point to them and say, “See, Carson/Love/Steele agrees with me, so it’s not racist.”

Said the blonde white lady from Fox news who spews
“misinformation” and shovels piles of bullshit out to low information viewers on a nightly basis. BTW, MEGYN did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe that Darren Wilson might be lying since he never made a police report immediately, washed off DNA and “bagged” his own gun? Perhaps you are just a racist, plain and simple. Dolt.

Why does Megyn Kelly bleach her hair blonde when it IS a lie?
Why does she pretend to be a Journalist when she is only an Eye-Candy Propagandist for the knuckle-draggers crowd?
Inquiring Minds want to know!

I just checked with a conservative – he says you should be less sensitive and more grateful for the helpful advice.

You do want to be a sharp dresser, don’t you?

Awww…Meg…these folks are just limbering up for the next so called “incident” when a similar circumstance will occur and the denial will begin new. There is a festering problem in society that must be addressed. You are a "reporter"Open your eyes comprehend what you see and report. Not pretend.

Why believe someone who is NOT a journalist? For the record, it won’t matter how many trials we have the black community will never admit the truth about that thug from Ferguson. I said if the black community didn’t want a grand jury they should have spoken up in August…NOT after they got the verdict they didn’t want. Democracy doesn’t work that way. We don’t just keep trying people until we make people happy to keep them from rioting and burning down the town. If they want to burn it down…burn it. That’s what the step dad said. So let 'em.

Exactly, someone who ran with “All Benghazi, All the Time” shouldn’t be preaching about what may be based on a lie. I like Skolnik a lot. He’s a good guy and a great advocate, but I do wish more progressives would hit harder. IMO, this was low hanging fruit that he let get away from him.
