I dunno. At this time, at the height of this crisis in Africa, it might be advisable to have a three week mandatory quarantine for returning health care workers. That sounds harsh, but it would be effective.

Megyn is right. This a-hole should have been in self isolation for 21 days upon arriving home. He was totally irresponsible to be going out and about only a week after getting back. Back from treating sick people, he was directly exposed. WTF selfish deuschbag. Why is it so hard to understand?
But oh yeah, he is so responsible, I mean, he didn’t go to work at the hospital and treat (expose) other sick people.

Yeah, that doctor was so irresponsible that he didn’t work at his job, took his temperature twice a day, and called the health department the minute his temperature spiked to 100.3—not 103 as was erroneously reported.
Megyn Kelly is—as usual----100% wrong and contributing to the unreasonable fears of the public.
But then, that is what Fox pays her to do.

Thats right, he was irresonsible - for not staying home for 3 weeks and doing what he could to not potentially expose other people. Pretty fucking simple.

Doctors With Borders does have guidelines for this but it involves self-monitoring. In this case I agree with the loathesome Ms Kelly. Ebola is highly contagious when symptomatic. Particularly for doctors and soldiers who have direct contact in hotspots mandatory observational quarantine is a common sense precaution.

Absent any symptoms, the virus could not be contracted by anyone else.
And it can only be contracted by direct contact with blood or bodily fluids----sweat, feces, urine, or vomitus—from a patient who is exhibiting symptoms.
He did exactly as he should have done.
