Discussion: Meghan McCain To McCabe: I'm 'Not Convinced' This Isn't A PR Stunt To Avoid Indictment

And we care about her opinion why?

Dear God Meghan the most “unreliable narrator” is Trump, or that TV series Lost.

“I don’t believe you’re a reliable narrator and I’m not convinced this isn’t just some kind of PR campaign to stop yourself from getting indicted,” she said.

“You were fired at the recommendation of the FBI — which, in your book, you cite four times how great of an organization it is, for your lack of candor,” she continued. “I would like you to say right here on national TV that you were not a source for The New York Times. You were never a source for The New York Times or any other publication — considering that is what you were accused of lying about. … Basically were you ever a leaker to the New York Times?”

  1. it’s nice to know that she has the President’s back.

  2. McCabe’s answer is now on tape.

“she’s a McCain and they would never lie.”

Nepotistic masochism…which has to be stamped out.

But is she a “maverick”?

“All McCains are mavericks, especially the ones who served with General Lee.”

I understand the need for opposite views but not from this one.

“I’m not convinced you’re not correct” is a pretty weak-ass denial.

Tmw she imagines herself as Charlotte, but she’s really this guy.

She doesn’t believe Comey about anything but this. Well that’s convenient. I’m convinced Meghan is just another Trumper riding the clown car until it runs out of gas.

Miss Piggy, I’m not convinced you’re not Andy Kauffman in a wig. It’s funny how that works.

Another reason, if one were needed, to steer clear of daytime TV.

Whatever you think of Meghan McCain, the guy is damaged goods, and while not inevitably lying, is not automatically credible either. One of the differences between us and the Trumpsters is that we do look hard at our sources, even when they tell us what we want to hear. Rosenstein, of course, is not much better, having drafted the paper justifying the firing of Comey and later doing a Hamlet act. The best explanation was in Lawfare this morning, which accurately said that at a time of great stress (unlike at the time of the 1973 Saturday massacre) no one covered themselves in glory.

Oh for the days when this country had some adults in the higher echelons of government.

Labeling Meghan “unqualified” elevates her well beyond her intelligence level. Indeed, it’s analogous to stretching a Chiclet to the moon (and back).

Oh, but she despises PP and rightfully so. Her problem, among too many to mention, is that even though she is fully aware that PP is a liar and just a horrific human being, she can’t help but reflexively defend GOP talking points and hating the people the rest of them hate. That puts her in a bind where she’s just trashing everyone and screaming “both sides, both sides, both sides” as if she’s actually a long lost Todd.

Why doesn’t she pick on Lindsay Graham? Now that would be worth tuning in for.

Well if Princess Meghan says so, with her vast background in government and law enforcement, then that settles it for me.
