Ms. McCain seems to not understand or acknowledge that any criticism of Ms. Palin’s gravitas and credentials is a very direct critique of her father’s capacity for sound political judgment. She can’t both disrespect Ms. Palin and respect her father at the same time. There is some parental antipathy going on here, methinks.

It’s Meghan’s mom who has the money (her father’s beer distribution which also financed McGrumps political campaigns). McGrump may be Senate-size rich, but it’s Cindy’s wealth that matters.
