I just can’t envision that being a home. You get the impression they have to dress for dinner, for getting up to head to the john, going from one room to another. I mean where do you toss your keys, kick off your shoes and wait for the cats to dribble fur about. All those windows, but the chairs look away. Can’t see the lawn, can’t watch the birds, can’t step out the door for a bit of air, can’t see what the neighbors are up to. Hell at that altitude, you can’t see the rain dappling puddles on the ground. Damn if you mark a wall to show the kid’s progression in height as time goes by. Not a single thing to embrace as a real memory in that place, just gilt on pretty empty lives.

Oy. But if someone’s smart, they’ll make sure Trump sees all those “We Love You” messages from folks in the part of the world he wants to bar from US entry. If a few horrific images of dying children could make him do a 180 on Syria when reports of thousands did nothing, imagine what those Trump-worshipping jpegs could do to this narcissist’s perspective on his refugee policy and travel ban.
