Discussion: Meet Britain First, The Violent Extremist Group Retweeted By President Trump

And Sarah Huckabee’s out there defending this shit. Disgusting.

When it comes to Britain First, there is little ambiguity about the group’s taste for violent confrontation. “When someone insults them back, they videotape it and then share it very rapidly on their social platforms to promote the idea that there are no-go areas and they’re just Christians minding their own business, when in fact they’re trying to incite violence,” said Ryan. “They’ll go into mosques in paramilitary uniforms and walk over the prayer mats with big heavy boots, thrust a Bible into the hands of the imams and tell them they’re worshipping a false prophet. I’ve seen them go into Brick Lane in a disused military vehicle handing out leaflets; it’s all these very high-profile stunts designed to get attention.”

That seems like the work of radical Christian terrorists to me.

Not surprising that Trump has this group on his twitter feed. Probably a favorite of his.

Question: Is Trump’s America First policy in any way akin to Britain First? And will the Trumpian White Supremacists adopt some more of the Britain First tactics now that they’ve been publicly endorsed by the so-called president?

So I am assuming that this group is backed by Putin, too.

“I don’t see how it advances America’s interests.”

It’s not about American’s interests. It’s about Trump’s interests. The two are mutually exclusive…

Safe assumption.

Sickeningly so.

Probably suggested to him by Bannon.
Does anyone know the time of this ‘re-tweet’? His most unhinged tweets seem to come in the wee hours of the morning, when a normal person would be asleep.

“Trump’s tweets can often be lined up with whatever is on cable news at the moment; in this case it’s less clear how he came across Fransen’s twitter feed.”

I find it rather stunning how quickly, and completely without warning our Dotard in Chief capitulated his entire mantra of America First, and went full speed toward Britain First. INVESTIGATE!!!

“the law was passed in the 1930s in an effort to control British fascists like Oswald Moseley’s notoriously violent brownshirts”

That’s not the only connection. If you look at where “Britain First” came from, the article notes that it was formed by members of the previous “British National Party” but the lineage actually goes further back, though a succession of previous, mostly now defunct, entities all the way to… Oswald Moseley’s British Nazi party in the 1930s. These are not nice people, to say the least.

Yep, there’s a reason Sarah the Huckster’s cockeyed stare is so darkly empty. She sold her soul for cheap.

In case you were wondering, it goes something like this:

Britain First was founded by former members of the British National Party (second iteration)
The British National Party (second iteration) was founded by former members of the National Front
The National Front was a merger of the League of Empire Loyalists and the British National Party (first iteration)
The British National Party (first iteration) was a merger of two breakaway groups from the League of Empire Loyalists (so the NF was basically a re-merger)
The League of Empire Loyalists was founded by Arthur Chesterton, formerly a leader in Oswald Moseley’s party, the British Union of Fascists (later the British Union of Fascists and National Socialists, just in case there’s any confusion as to who these people are)
The British Union of Fascists was banned in 1940, oddly enough.

I think between 6:30 - 7 am this morning, https://twitter.com/ashleyfeinberg/status/935844844865454080
this was tweeted around the time - with a time stamp and has images which captures images from his tweets that indicate how many minutes earlier he posted the three videos.

Alright- what does it take to pull the Donnie’s TWITTER account? Is anybody listening? It is getting more and more bizarre --his comments about NBC, Comcast, Lack, and Morning Joe are madness. He needs valium or ECT.

This is Steve Miller at work! Why is that little shit even allowed in the White House?!

Well, we DO have a “special relationship” with the UK…no? Isn’t that how they always put it? So if Trump is going to overtly support the KKK and other white nationalists in our country, shouldn’t he support their versions?

Where is “V” when you really need him?

These are the kind of people that would elect a Chancellor Sutler at the drop of a hat.
