Form letter for medical groups and insurance companies:
"[Insert Date]
We oppose the Republican plan to repeal [insert portion of ACA being considered].
It would be disastrous, millions would lose health insurance, premiums would go up for others, and many people would die.
Please stop this bullshit.
Sincerely,"
The love of money is [truly] the root of all kinds of evil.
Why are Trump and his Repuglican toadies so determined to kill Americans?
Theyâre concerned about global warming and itâs a way to reduce carbon output.
Gee, you get a tax cut of $500, but you lose your health insurance for your family. Wow, what a deal. Republicans are horrible, just horrible and inhumane.
Influential industry groups,âŚ
They are only influential if they are willing to stop donating to Republicans.
No one, including the Republican recipients of their largess, believe reduce their donations by even 1 cent for voting for any repeal of the ACA.
Until those letters say they are forming a PAC to support the election of people who donât want to kill americans, itâs mostly another Strongly Worded Note.
Does this help them pass the tax bill, or does it doom the tax bill? Or maybe itâs just a play to the base to reassure the base that the GOP hasnât given up on Obamacare Repeal, and a signal to consumers not to bother enrolling if they donât feel like it, in an attempt to reduce enrollment (weâre in the middle of the open enrollment period right now), but in reality is just a bargaining chip that will be stripped out at some point later in the process.
If they sincerely intend to include this in the final bill, well, hmmm. Not sure how that plays out, but sure seems dicey.
I mean itâs true that the mandate is probably the least popular part of the ACA, for pretty obvious reasons. And I guess the game plan will be to just focus on how theyâre âliberatingâ those people who may âchooseâ to drop their coverage in the absence of the mandate, and ignore the fact that many millions of other people will lose their coverage because premiums will rise as younger/healthier people opt out.
I guess the question is, will McCain, Collins and Murkowski go along with that, knowing full well that it will cause millions to lose their coverage involuntarily. Sadly, I canât rule it out entirely.
Fuck, theyâll probably have to spend more than $500 a year to repair the damage to their car from crumbling roads and bridges.
Republicans only care about life and long as a fetus is in the womb. Once itâs born they could care less.
Senate whip says he has the votes.
Trickle down health care anyone ?
Fuck these industry groups in the ass. If they meant it and actually cared, theyâd be doing commercials and getting the word out, not sending a letter just so they can tell customers later âwell, we sent a letterâŚwe tried.â
Someone on here says the GOP believes childhood begins at conception and ends just before a popular republican molests her or him.
they need to KILL. off as many Americans as they Can. the Republican Party. needs to give the rich some more money. die Americans. children. sick and disabled. working poor. DIE!!!
Because thatâs where the money is. Theyâd happily slaughter more foreigners if it resulted in a bigger tax cut.
13 million lose health insurance and reasonable access to health care is a small price to pay so that Trump and the other rich and corporations can get a tax cut, folks. Come on, as a nation we need to prioritize!
This is just amazing to me. In their revenge fantasy mode the Republicans do not give a sweet sht to the facts of the ACAâŚhow hard people worked in conjunction with people that KNEW things how to have a system. Instead a bunch of silly nimrods that think some âhigher powerâ touched them on the head and gave them wisdom when they were elected constantly and consistently legislate to fk it all up.
Labs need to do something with those urine samples.
