I’m a bit weary of mincing words. So let’s go with this one.

Bullshit

Remember that the clause: “a lot more attractive in terms of number of people covered,”
means: “fewer people will be covered” to his base.

Self-delusional. This is the story they tell themselves in the echo chamber. Hint: the more money you GOP steal from Medicaid to fund tax cuts, the less care and fewer people covered. It’s pretty simple.

And uglier pig.

Good combination.

“More attractive” in terms of the number of people covered?
“More attractive” in terms of the premium costs to individuals?
“More attractive” in terms of the size of the tax cut to millionaires?
“More attractive” in that you’d like to see people get hurt, and this bill will do more of that?

“More attractive” is subjective.

More attractive in terms of weasel words, and almost guaranteed to please Nancy Pelosi.

So if it is going to be so much more attractive, why not delay the vote until the proof is out there that this bill is better?

You know why: because it isn’t.

"Cuz I heard $8 billion and I thought, ‘well, that’s an awesome and correct number that will solve everything because it’s soooo much, so I just know the CBO will bless it. If they don’t, they’re obviously Obummer leftovers who should be fired,’ " Meadows later added.

Meadows also went on to state that he anticipated monkeys to fly out of his butt in the next week

So then score the bill before voting on it if the news will be so rosy.

“Attractive” is a relative term.

“a lot more attractive in terms of number of people covered,…”

How is “covered” defined? What does Meadows mean by “covered”?

The conservatives do not care what it costs

  • as long as the “have-nots” feel real pain and are reminded that they truly “have-not”
and the “haves” can receive a constant reminder of their superior position.

About the same thing they mean by people having “access to coverage.” It means that if you pay enough money you will be able to get some kind of health insurance, even if it doesn’t cover what’s ailing you or what may ail you in the future or is in any sense reasonably affordable.

“When we look at this, there has been a score,” he said, though the CBO has not yet scored the revised bill in its entirety. “We’ve had some individual analysis that looks at those amendments on what it would do to make sure that we’re insuring more people.”

“We believe that the new CBO score will be a lot more attractive in terms of the number of people covered,” Meadows told CNN’s Dana Bash.
