Meadows: ā€˜My Life Changed’ When Ayers Turned Down Chief Of Staff Gig

If he takes the job it will change a lot more, and not in a good way!

Oh, please, take it. It will get your sorry ass out of NC and maybe in jail eventually. He really is stupid if he goes there. I guess the Dem takeover of the House has taken all his power away and he is looking for another way to fuck things up.

He knows he’s at big risk of losing defense of his House seat in 2020, meaning this is really more of a Mike Pence move: when all other career opportunities dry up, take the job that almost certainly means your doom.

The biggest job requirement for CoS to Toad isn’t discipline - it’s masochism: the lucky applicant (or draftee) must have an abnormal tolerance for shamelessness, belittlement, receiving staged praise offset by private spittle face, and disturbingly high levels of negative stress. Helps to be not very smart and utterly shallow, so Meadows has a legit shot.

You’re only making this comment because you know Pence is dumber than a sack of hammers but next to Meadows, Hammerbag Mike’s a freaking genius.

I was having a hard time believing yesterday’s reports that he wasn’t inclined to take this. As leader of a minority of the minority party in the House, he’ll be completely powerless, and all evidence points to him being dumb enough to think that being Trump’s CoS would be a step up.

If you must know I’m making the comment because I want him to suffer and I think it’s a diabolically apt punishment for any Republican, including the GOP voters. Let them all have a turn.

I can barely understand Meadows, what with his lips all puckered in the shape of Trump’s butt cheek.

What a slime ball. He’s perfect.

Personally, i think that Chris Christie should take the job. Going from a two term Governor to (POS) Individual-1’s CoS is perfection.

The grift is strong in this one

seems like the perfect choice…perfect yes man for Trump. He will probably reinforce all of Trump’s terrible instincts. On the plus side, it might hasten Trump’s downward slide, but, on the other hand, it might make for a bumpier ride for the country.

ā€œit’s who’s going to serve him best and who’s going to serve the country best.ā€

Serving Trump and serving the country are mutually exclusive (unless he is serving Trump up to Mueller…)

I think Christie would be the best choice. He knows what to do about the wall; just pretend to build it, and reduce all border roads to one lane of traffic each way.
