Please, pretty please !
McSally embraces the Pussi@ Grabb@r in Chief.
Ugly!
Flip the seat? But Dotard thinks flipping is illegal? Or is that only regarding incriminating testimony against him?
Looks like things are heading to the endâŚ
Just waiting for Dotardâs âthoughts and prayersââŚ
I am praying(not really) that McCain can summon the strength to hang in there past the election. He will not be able to vote for Kavanaugh from his death bed but the Republican who will be appointed to replace him by Gov. Doocey will most assuredly cast a vote for the hypocritical bastard. Hang in there Johnny Boy. Hang in there.
My guess is McCain will be dead within 2 weeks - glioblastoma is an MFer.
Off topic, but I wanted to comment on this article for hours - do you have to wait for the little comment icon to appear on the article page before you can do anything?
I was really hoping for Arpaio, just because I wanted to get to vote against him once more before I die. Now the issue will be to wait for the dark money to come pouring in to smear Sinema. She is more vulnerable than the Democratic party seems to think, but she still has 3 times the charisma of McSally. It is going to get real ugly real fast here in the wild west, and I refuse to be optimistic - however, this little seed of hope keeps trying to sprout.
How lovely it would be to have a Democratic senator from Arizona again, and a woman to boot!
Problem is that Doochy can replace him with McSadly, who will have a chance to show her senatorial side before the election. Enough people will like what they see that theyâll vote for her.
Now if McCain would only turn loose on Dump and endorse Sinema.
Sheâs running to replace Flake, right? Appointing her to McCainâs seat wouldnât make a lot of sense since it would be vacated if McSally won. If he waited until after the election results came in, that would be a more reasonable possibility.
Mustang Sally is possibly one of the most shamelessly opportunistic politicians I have ever seen⌠and I used to live in Illinois.
Perhaps she will have a flameout too close to the ground?
I didnât want to wish for McCainâs death, but I did want him to step aside before the deadline so his seat would have been up for the election. Ward would have been in one of the two races in that case, and would have drug down McSally, giving AZ two Democrats, and probably control of the Senate. He should have known he wasnât going to survive to the election, and it would have been his best revenge against TrumpâŚheâs too much of a party person to have done that though.
In any other year Iâd think McSally was a candidate worth looking at, her record seems decent and before this election she seemed reasonable. This year, she ran to the right to undercut Ward, and she should be tarnished enough from embracing Trump to lose. That shows a lack of character that sheâs tried to build upâŚI understand the politics, but at a time when Trump is spiraling downwards it shows poor planning as well as poor character. Sinema should tie her to Trump when she tries to tack to the middle, and hopefully that is enough for the win.
Iâm a little perturbed by the ad. It characterizes her as âIndependent,â and never even mentions the Democratic Party. I get why she is trying this approach, but I think the result is misleading and somewhat disingenuous.
I still want her to win!
Tasteless Trump would use McCainâs endorsement as an example of incoherent thinking from brain cancer, and push it hard at the next rally.
And she isnât a mob lawyer like DeConcini.
McSally won CD2 in 2012 by a slim margin after Gabby Giffords was shot by a psycho at one of her âCongress on Your Cornerâ meetings she held several times a year at various grocery stores and malls around southeast Arizona.
McSally, that âbrave warrior,â has not held a single such constituent meeting since sheâs been in office. Yet she has tried to portray herself as following in Gabbyâs footsteps. Sheâs not even close, and her sucking up to tRump is disgusting.
Gabby Giffords continues to inspire.
Itâs appalling that any former servicewoman would lower herself to support President âFive Defermentsâ Bonespurs, but then Dick âFive Defermentsâ Cheney seemed to have the adulation of the military so I guess itâs par for the course for veterans to actively support Republicans who sneered at the idea of serving in uniform themselves.
