Trump canāt resist. I say less than 48 hrs to libelous tweeting. I would suggest lawyer Stris could save some time and just start drawing up the suit now.
Can FLOTUS take time away from Da Syber Boolies to comment on any of this?
There are now at least 3 cases (that weāre aware of) where Davidson and Cohen nominally represented opposing sides. I donāt know how common it is for the same two lawyers to be in involved against each other in similar type civil cases, but I do know Cohen barely has any clients at all. I think if this is even cursorily scrutinized, these guys are going to wind up without a law license.
āIf Donald Trump tweets tomorrow and starts saying that sheās a liar, I feel pretty confident that action will be taken. She is going to defend herself, but she also cares about her privacy and her lifeā McDougalās lawyer, Peter Stris, told MSNBCās āMorning Joe.ā āPart of getting out of this contract is feeling like if she needs to defend herself, she can.ā

Part of the takeaway from both the AC360 interview and the Farrow interview, is that while she wanted her right to defend herself back in her hands, she didnāt want any part of this story to start with.
As of now, she has that right back, so it will be interesting to see if she uses it.
Especially when one works in NYC and the other in LA. What are the chancresā¦ ?
ā¦her lawyer said Thursday morning that McDougal will still defend herself if President Donald Trump goes after her credibility.
If?
Yeah, donāt forget this one was āin loveā with Trump, fer peteās sake.
I really like how you chose to emphasize your point about their collaborating on cases by suggesting that they actually share the same law license. Nicely done!
One thing Iāve been wondering, and am disappointed that no one has asked on-air: How did Stormy Daniels come into contact with Keith Davidson in order to engage him as her lawyer? Ditto for Karen McDougal. Ditto for the other Playboy model who got the payout from that RNC finance chair. I mean, if I was in that situation and a lawyer called me out of the blue and offered to represent me, I would wonder where he came from. Is that how it went down? Because thereās no way that any of those 3 women cracked open the yellow pages to look for a lawyer, and came up with Keith Davidson, never mind all 3 of them.
I watched his interview with Rachel last evening. Frankly I was embarrassed for Rachel. The lawyer was proud of his result, which got his client everything she wanted from AMI and left open possible claims against her lawyer in the transaction as well as Michael Cohen. Apparently all she wants is her privacy and the ability to freely tell her story without asking AMI for permission. Rachel was all atwitter because McDougal didnāt squeeze AMI for more. A lawyer does his job when he is successful in achieving his clientās objectives. Rachelās performance was one of the few times I found her lacking in human understanding.
Keith Davidson is a guy with real exposure in this sorted mess. He owes a duty of unquestioned and undivided loyalty to his clients and it is obvious that he didnāt give any of the three women that kind of loyalty as he worked hard to protect Trump or the financier.
If Davidson is your lawyer, I donāt see how you can trust him to represent you zealously.
I saw that too. Rachel was baffled by why McDougal settled when she was holding all the cards. The lawyer explained very clearly why, and even said this was one of the best results he ever got (in terms of an individual taking on a giant corporation). In short, AMI capitulated and McDougal got what she wanted.
After that, Rachel was still baffled! Hereās why: Rachel wanted the suit to press on so that David Pecker and Michael Cohen, etc could be forced into depositions. Her goal is maximum political impact, which I would also like to see. But I can understand why Karen McDougal has different goals. Rachel was completely blinded to that simple fact.
