Oh Pa-leezeā¦you canāt be that naive. Itās a criminal defense for corruption charges, not āThe Days of Our Livesā. I have letters like that from old lovers (edit: minus the āsinnerā part), and the best part of those loverās spats was by far the make-up sex. Nah, this is bullshit. No sympathy from meā¦The two of them are colluding on this defenseā¦They are both liars from the get-go. Theyāve taken their lofty theocratic morality and dumped it unsolicited on the entire State of Virginia while they both were in the Governorās mansion, galavanting around and taking gifts from their own private plutocrat.
This whole trial is morphing into the story of āLuke and Lauraā.

one of the things he said was that in light of the charges now, i have to talk about it. in other words, if one of us is going to jail, itās you, babe, not me. So their marriage was a political showā¦or is this now the show? Some folks would have said that the governor picked his career over his wifeā¦he knew she didnāt feel she was ready to be the first lady, and in fact, it sounds like he knew it as well. but full speed ahead. very very sad. maybe the family values crowd will stop shouting at everybody else now.
