Discussion: McDaniel Campaign Offers Confusing Explanation For Canceled Editorial Meeting

Discussion for article #222914

OK, yesterday I thought he’d have to have been nuts to be directly involved in having the blogger go to the nursing home. Today with the cops talking about a possible conspiracy and all this flailing around from the campaign, I still think that. But I also think maybe he was, in fact, just that nuts. Something’s not at all kosher here.

Noel Fritsch needs to get into a new line of work because he’s really terrible at this one. Maybe there are some stables in Jackson or Meridien that need mucking and he can keep on tossing horseshit around…

That voicemail Sojourner left seemed a little panicked. The guilty flee where none pursueth.

republicans tend to not be too nuts to do anything. I won’t at all be surprised if it turns out this was planned by the McDaniel campaign. the GOP will ratfuck anyone.

No doubt. It reminds me of episode of Veep.

I think they flee even faster when the cops and journalists all pursueth.

No argument, not today. But I swear I’ve never heard of any political dirty trick where the risk was so great and the reward so microscopically small. Just amazing.

Monty Python’s “paying for an argument” sketch came to my mind.

Maybe McDaniel is just “fixin’ to meet the klan.”

Yeah, now…but at 7:41 AM Saturday morning “We don’t know this guy” followed by “Several months ago…we found out about this guy” must’ve been a wtf moment.

The discussion between the newspaper editor and the McDaniel spokesperson reminds me too too much of the classic old Abbott and Costello “Who’s on first” sketch–except the McDaniel campaign is playing both comedians. Can you say “Liar!”

No it isn’t.

Someone ought to ask McDaniel why he wants to be in the United States senate if he is a member of the League of the South, the Sons of Confederate Veterans and openly supports secession.
