Well, someone is going to jail.

I thought I read this guy had “helped” several other republicans in other districts as well… This really could open up Pandora’s box. I suspect he was doing this during the 2016 campaign as well…

Absolutely, though (and it makes me feel quite old), the parties really put their chips on the table more like 60 years ago when the non-Dixiecrat Dems coalesced around Civil Rights… and it culminated when the GOP decided on Goldwater.

I live in the south and grew up in the south. My grandparents and parents have or had varying degrees of racism ingrained in them, but the birth of the southern strategy and everything since has been an exercise in active, institutional racism that the NC GOP has embraced and does embrace (and so has the national GOP to a certain degree). The bar for redemption for these people is getting very high. To hell with them IMO.

I also suspect he wasn’t the only one doing this. Just like the national GOP and Trump/Russia, I am certain that the NC GOP was involved in this conspiracy.

AMEN to that!!!

I would say he is as guilty as a kid who gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but Republicans almost always just take the whole fucking jar.

We must take this opportunity to learn from our past mistakes. How can we do it again, and not get caught?

I shall endeavor to get the most appropriate Latin words for “coordinated and unlawful” as the proper seal of the Republican Party.

As for Dickless, should we really expect that much from a convicted felon?

It can’t be any sort of voting fraud if you’re making votes Republican!

Correction, ID was passed in 2014

Along with anyone who paid for his “get out the white vote” services.

It is the 100th subclause of IOKIYAR if

the GOP ratfucker operative who directed you to violate the law is someone who is like a father to you.

Along with: Factio Republicana delenda est.

That is literally already their SOP. Remember that a core piece of conservative extremist libertarian ideology is that government is necessarily unworkable and incompetent. One of the most straightforward ways to support that claim is to cultivate politicians who are incompetent, lazy, crooked, or simply willing to ignore their duties.

Decades of GOP obstruction in Congress has contributed to the increased power of the executive branch, because it’s the only way to get anything done – and it makes it a lot easier and cheaper for the wealthy to rule because they really only have to purchase one election every 4 years instead of dozens every 2 years.

That’s the GOP. Prove that nothing works by maliciously breaking it yourself, then argue that nice things could never exist.

Question: why is Lisa Britt ratting out Dowless? This isn’t (yet) a criminal trial, so I assume she hasn’t been “flipped” in the traditional sense.
