The GOP’s sudden reluctance to repeal ACA when given the chance reminds me of the loudmouth who says they are an amazing athlete and great at multiple sports, but when finally called out to show what they got, they actually suck and make one lame excuse after another why they aren’t playing well.
They blame it on a pre-existing condition. It’s psychological. But they will never admit that.
" fairly?”
Mitch McConnell has no idea what that word means.
“NEWSMAXTV” ? Mr. Turtle has no balls or spine.
.
Fairly? McConnell is sounding like a bleeding heart liberal.
The solution is obvious: save poor Kentucky from the clutches of the ACA, and throw all those Medicaid people off the roles.
Or was Obamacare a good idea? Is that why Mitch wants to keep it?
It’s always hard when the lies come back to haunt them.
I love Hair Fuhrer’s threat: “Unless you help me destroy the ACA, I will destroy the ACA!”
Nope. How well do you know Kentucky? Do you live here too?
No, no, no. Repeal and replace is one of the main issues the Republican have been whining about for seven years. And they still can’t scratch that itch? Might as well start a new Benghazi investigation. That will make the GOP feel better.
Really??? Seven years to think, plan, run the numbers and tell us, probably 20 times, the replacement will be ready next week? What about the 50+ votes to repeal during that last seven years? I’m really beginning to believe the GOP are a bunch of liars or incompetent fools. Maybe both.
Just facts. Look at the past/recent elections of Gov, Senate, house etc. They all ran on gutting ObamaCare and won. This is despite the fact that ObamaCare has been a great boost to KY and has reduced the uninsured considerably. This is just one example:
The leadership has adopted universal coverage as their goal. Here is Ryan’s own page: http://paulryan.house.gov/healthcare/
That is perhaps their biggest problem. They’ve now bought into universal coverage and when they did, they lost the fight.
It says a lot about the 7 years of BS about the ACA, but it mostly says a lot about the realities of healthcare. The ACA at heart is a Heritage Foundation plan, but was (mostly) made to work both in Mass. under Romney and then as Obamacare. Next steps should have been a public option, and then true single-payer, like every other democracy. The GOP isn’t going near either of those, so they can’t really offer an improvement.
