Even if House Republicans are able to achieve an Easter miracle and resurrect their Obamacare repeal bill, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is warning that things won’t get any easier for the legislation in the Senate.

Does this mean the Republican House will have given their lives so the rest of us can have a life with no healthcare?

Worst ransom sacrifice ever.

When is someone going to call them on what is now obvious?

Despite 7 years of calling the ACA a crime against humanity, the GOP is incapable of insuring more people for less money?

The GOP gets a pass on this that they do not deserve.

Mitch has a big enough challenge being a decent human being much less anything else.

Yertle the Turtle has the luxury of knowing that the House is so dysfunctional that no form of an AHCA will ever be debated on the floor…

BTW, he would kill the filibuster in a heartbeat if it meant the “Grand Conservative Vision” could be enacted…

Be afraid, you are witnessing one of the most venal and feckless Senate leaders in history…

It is obvious that their constituents don’t want what they are selling. The AHCA is dead on arrival. They are going to have to figure out a better way to screw poor and old people. A way poor and old people won’t notice.

For me the real bridge to far is gutting extended medicaid. They want that money, which is dedicated to help the working poor, so they can give it to their wealthy friends.

Ryan, like most Republicans, has no understanding of what it is like to be a member of the working poor. Everyday is a slog to put food on the table for your family. Health insurance is one of the first things that is cut from every budget. God knows exploiters of poor Americans won’t provide their low wage workers healthcare. Without extended Medicaid when a hard working poor mother gets sick she leaves orphans behind. The ACA has made life better for millions upon millions of Americans who are now receiving quality care. Without it rich Americans (Ryan and his friends) will still receive the best care anywhere, but the rest will have the ER, care that is almost 2nd world.

There really is no excuse for this.
They have the House.
They have the Senate.
They have the presidency.

The fact that they can’t come up with something says more about them than this lame ass bullshit they keep coming up with.

Why is he even talking about this? It’s going to be a big challenge keeping the damn government open when they get back.

It seems the only things that get repealed is every promise that Trump made.

The GOP song and dance has worn out its welcome. There’s no reason to believe anything they say.

They lied for too many years.

So Donald will force the Dems to the table by threatening ACA subsidies, Dems threaten to shut down government if subsidies aren’t paid, Senate Repubs say it doesn’t matter anything form the House is DOA…meanwhile Tax Reform is looking six feet under. What a disaster for the Repubs.

That’s right , Mitch.
So go for it, buddy.
Expend maximum effort and political capital, spend ALL your time on it!
How I wish he were that stupid.
This is utter pablum for the lo-infos. Right venue for it.

Yep. The current cast makes Dubya’s 2002-2006 trifecta seem efficient, if only at destruction.

I don’t think there are even 50 votes for anything that passes the House.
