Oh, to have one of Mueller’s shoes drop on McConnell.

I wonder if he is trying to pressure the WH to withdraw the nomination. I’m sure the count is under 50 right now.

You’re 76 Mitch
My sincere hope is that you go to the grave with “former majority leader” as your epitaph
I have never wished a man dead , but I will smile as I read your obituary

It is not the Turtles view, it is the view he wants the public to have. Stop giving these guys a pass we know he is not telling the public the truth.

In the words of Lin Manuel Miranda, “You don’t have the votes!”

Awww, Turtle has a sad cuz he can’t get a serial sexual assaulter on SCOTUS.

That’s my sense of this statement too.

Mitch, the only “smears” occurring are the Pap smears that women are running to their doctors to get after being within 10 feet of Brett Kavanaugh and any male Republican member of the Senate.

After that lame-ass FoxNews interview with Blessed Virgin Brett Kavanaugh of the Calendars (an interview conducted by Martha McCallum, the chief female defender of thankfully-deceased Jabba the Hutt impersonator and human spirochete Roger Alies’ slimy sexual harassment of his female underlings), I cannot wait for Kavanaugh’s victims to start appearing on the REAL news shows. Hopefully with Michael Avenatti. He is REALLY going after poor little Brett!

Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao are creepy and corrupt.

“Such a blunder sometimes, makes me wonder why I even bring the thunder.”

And after Thursday, it’s not likely to increase.

Delay! Delay! McConnell rule!! We must have an election before the Senate has an up or down vote! People’s voice must be heard!
Right Mitch? I seem to remember that logic.

but he also has midterm motivations: he wants to put pressure on the red state Democrats his party hopes to defeat in November.

It’s not going to work, not this time. The voters don’t care about Kavanaugh, the support isn’t there, so the red state Democratic Senate candidates are free to decline to move forward without fear of repercussion.

Edited to add that even Fox’s own polling shows this: x.com

The thing that gives McConnell wet dreams at night is a Supreme Court ruling that says corporations can give unlimited donations directly to candidates and he won’t let anything get in his way to have a full blown conservative majority to make that ruling.
