Discussion: McConnell To Trump: Changing Senate Rules Won't Fix Health Care Stalemate

Because Republicans have a slim majority of just 52 senators, it’s impossible for them to pass a partisan bill.

And yet they kept trying.

“It’s pretty obvious,” McConnell said. He should have continued, “Donald Trump is an imbecile who claims to be a successful financier but cannot do simple math.”

Next, Don “The Con” will propose a new rule that GOPers only require 48 votes but Dems will require 90. His base should like that.

Trump may be the only person in the country who didn’t know that this “heatlh care denial” bill was attempted in reconciliation and therefore needed only 50 Republican senators. God what a fool he is.

“The votes are simply not there,” McConnell said.

Chiselin’ Trump: “I don’t care if the votes aren’t there. Just DO IT! Or I’ll fire you!”

McConnell To Trump: Changing Senate Rules Won’t Fix Health Care Stalemate. Besides, I have it on good authority that nobody knows the system better than you and that only you can fix it. I’m looking forward really great healthcare at a fraction of the cost. Believe me, Mr. President. You’re gonna make it look so easy. I’ll just stand aside and let you get to it.

Stop calling it Obamacare.
Change the name to something like," Medical Care For All", then fix what we have then both sides can declare victory.

And here I thought if Trump berated the Senate enough, it would alter the ability to count to 51.

Trump won’t be happy until he can “Rule by Decree”.

All it will take is a little “Reichstag Fire” of 9/11 proportions and the Republican Ruled Congress will happily hand over ALL their Constitutional Powers to the Orange ShitGibbon and grant him “Rule By Decree - Emergency Powers” which will NEVER be rescinded. Ever.

Hey, it worked in 1935…
