The level of disgust I feel about McConnell is way, way off the charts.
I am guessing that Palin’s posturing isn’t making it to Mitch’s radar… He is worried about the Rs dissing Murkowski resulting in her declaring herself an independant and caucusing with the Dems.
McConnell knew some time ago that he had Flake, Collins, and Manchin in the can for Kavanaugh. That allowed him to free up Murkowski to cast a vote that satisfied the majority of her constituents. I’m sure the favor will be repaid somewhere down the line.

He’d be singing a different tune if she was the deciding vote against Kavanaugh.
Maxaroo had it right. The Murkowski vote didn’t matter to the results of confirmation.
Also, McConnell has to actually work with her so he isn’t going to diss her publically.
