Remember: we were told that the spending cuts would spur growth and not lead to catastrophic deficits, that there was no need for comprehensive analysis of the economic impact of the GOP tax changes (as tax reform always gets), and that giving cuts and loopholes to the rich would help everyone.
Failure on their part should not lead to service reduction on my part. And if they want to cut SSI, I’ll take the money I put in plus market returns. Assholes.
