…members of the Senate’s Republican leadership confirmed the condensed timeline. GOP Whip John Cornyn (R-TX) said of his Democratic colleagues: “They better get it done quick because it’s this week or not at all.”

It’s an open and shut case. No need for debate.

Dems should cease all other action in the Senate for this stunt. No debate on DACA? Fine. Then nothing else gets accomplished, either. Live up to your word, or die by your word. The choice is yours.

“I’ve been here seven years and never seen anything like it,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) marveled to TPM Monday night. “Who knows? Democracy may very well break out in here.”

Seven years, and in all that time has he learned nothing?

Mitch MicConnell may well be the biggest waste of oxygen in this spiral arm of the Galaxy. Lying sack of dog shit, he is.

“I made a commitment to hold this debate and to hold it this week. I’ve lived up to my commitment."

This CYA statement does not come as any surprise but it says all one needs to know about McConnell and his gang of thieves.

Not to his pay-masters.

Trump ended DACA protections and he can reinstate them. All it takes is an E.O.

Dems: I can’t believe it.
Yoda: That is why you fail.

It would be nice if Dick Durbin expounded on that point. You know, "I looked Mitch McConnell in the eye and told him that I trusted him on this issue. At long last I have realized that when I was looking into his eye, I was looking into the black hole of Hell. Trust him? Never again. Mr. McConnell is using the lives of 800,000 young people, Americans in all but a piece of paper, their families, their employers, their schools, as pawns to force the American Taxpayers to pay for the border wall we don’t need that Mexico was going to pay for, to further build up the fascist police state the GOP so yearns for, and he thinks that the Democratic Party and the American People will stand still for Mitch McConnell and the GOP and their incompetent PResident Trump destroying America and her ideals as embodied in the Declaration of Independence and codified in the Constitution of the United States of America.

“Never again, McConnell, never again. This is now a war, and Democracy will not lose.”

Or something like that.

I am floored. Trusted Mitch 100%. Never saw anything like this coming. What should have tipped me off?

“I told Mitch McConnell, looking him in the eye, ‘I trust you. I think you made it clear that you’re going to be fair on the floor. And I’ve defended you to some Democrats who are skeptical,’” Durbin said.

McConnell has been a traitor to democracy since he publicly announced he would undermine all things Obama. Then he stole a seat on the Supreme Court. Democrats should learn something from Trump: The public is okay with insults, particularly when there’s a bit of truth to them. That McConnell is a traitor is fully true; it’s just a matter of using English honestly to call him this.

They have been paying attention… They just seem to think that maybe if they try harder, clean the house better, wear their makeup just the way he likes it, cooks him his favorite dinner then rock his socks in the bedroom (EEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!; sorry) just he way he wants it (barf barf barf, again, sorry) then maybe he’ll be nice to me and not hit me again.

Right?

“These Republicans say that they’re going to be fair and open and want to get a result, but only if you do it on their terms,” House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) complained to reporters Tuesday.

This has been SOP for the GOP since George W. Bush left the White House. Who’s surprised by this kind of behavior? Throw these bums out next November, it’s the only hope we have left to preserve our Republic.

As said by the late great misogynistic Sam Kinison:

“What, did I do that AGAIN?! What am I, a monster or something?”
