I hope the next Senate will abolish the blue slip system for all judges and the filibuster for SCOTUS nominees. Obviously, the days of courtesy are over and the (please God) Democratic Senate-to-be will go about its judicial appointment business by simple majority.

Oh sour pus McConnell is going to have to conduct a meeting with the SCTOUS nominee! He can’ outright say NO to meeting with a nominee. He is well aware that he’s unable to bypass holding a meeting with anyone. Not for a prolonged period of time.
