As an example, McConnell brought up the 1824 election in which Andrew Jackson won the popular vote but lost to John Quincy Adams. The House of Representatives decided the result after no candidate received a majority of the electoral vote.
That election isn’t even close to this year’s cycle.
For starters, Jackson had the popular vote going into the part where the House decided the election.
If he goes any further with that, then he should be asked if this cycle’s election was rigged.
