Discussion: McConnell On Trump Camp: 'I'd Like To See A More Studious Approach'

I don’t really get these “very unpopular” comments about Trump, and Clinton. MANY people declared themselves Presidential candidates this election, and these two people are the MOST popular. It doesn’t matter if they are less popular than any one of the millions of Americans who DIDN’T run for President, the fact is they are the MOST popular out of everyone who DID run!

But ALL Republicans HATE and MOCK remarks off a TelePrompTer! They find them laughable and sneer at ANY politician who cares to prepare remarks for an audience! In Trump world, riffing off the top of his damaged head is the truest way to project intelligence and authenticity!

McDonnell sure is a snooze, ain’t he?

Seriously, his eyes already look glazed over. How will his family even know when he passes away?

I knew as soon as the aunts and uncle laughed at me over dinner that the parents had squealed and I’d messed up.

These Republican “leaders” are willing to sell our country down the river for their chance at power and influence. They are traitors in the true sense of the word.

What would a studious Rump even look like? Does it seriously matter if his ridiculous tax cuts and stupid wall would only increase the deficit by $598,194,231,934.29 instead of $600 billion? Should he name-drop the foreign officials he had to bribe to get his deals done overseas? What?

by golly I’ve never seen that smile.

Mitch decided to take Jesse’s spot when the latter shuffled off this mortal coil. It wasn’t a good career move but it seemed like one at the time, certainly for a state like Kentucky.
Studious? Trump? Ahhhh, hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Senator McConnell is concerned that there may be segments of the American voting public who may not view his party’s presidential nominee as having quite the gravitas and intellectual heft they’ve come to expect from the Congressional Republican Caucus.

He’d like to see a more stupendous approach? What could be a more stupendous approach than having a candidate win the nomination with empty coffers and then bleed the GOP dry in the general?

Pretty sure votes outside Kentucky didn’t count in that election.

It’s hard to imagine a scenario where the US Senate actually creates a law to limit themselves from holding office forever.

Trump doesn’t have policies, he has appetites. His policy platform is his personality disorder. You can’t be “studious” about appetites.

Oh, a story from the Onion! Or… um…

Really?
