What’s the definition of insanity?

Yertle the Turtle already has a minimum of 3 votes against repealing the ACA, and maybe more. (I suspect Heller will also vote no). This effort by Yertle to vote seems pointless. On the other hand, the more the Trump GOP Senate wastes its time with pointless acts, the less time it has to screw up our country.

Please proceed.

I guess the shit sandwich at lunch left him wanting more.

The problem is the GOP never for once pretended that repealing Obamacare was about anything other than screwing the American people to benefit the wealthy; health coverage and care be damned. That put ā€œmoderateā€ support in jeopardy. On the other side, the hard-liners said: ā€œHey, we’re not screwing the American people enough!ā€
This is not a recipe for legislative success.

Forget it, Yertle. It’s Chinatown.

Credits are rolling, dude. Just be happy your wife got a free job out of the deal.

The ā€˜Triumvirate’

  1. Trump

  2. McConnell

  3. Ryan

Not a typo.

ā€œ3)ā€ = ā€œFull of shitā€

Seems pointless.

McConnell is so doctrinaire and pissed that now he wants to deport his wife!!

The thing to look out for is if McConnell votes yes or no on the bill since voting no will show he’s more committed to repealing Obamacare. That’s because a Majority Leader voting no on the bill means that the bill can be reintroduced at a later time. McConnell knows that he doesn’t have enough votes so if he votes no, they can bring the bill back later. But if he votes yes, that means he just wants to forget about Obamacare and move onto Tax reform.

Pretty much

Short answer: Even if folks were to indulge this notion that a D+ Civics student is the perfect guy to be President, then how can folks explain McConnell?

Now next week may (hell yeah/hedge alert) save McConnell, but i see very ā€˜few’ (notice the quote marks) avenues for him to get there.

They spent years throwing meaningless votes to repeal healthcare – it’s kind of like asking Billy Joel to play Piano Man.

He said:
Vote for the bill that will kill the poors
Then the turtle walked off in disgrace
Well I’m sure that he could be primaried
And get some other loony in his place!

Have you seen the CBO score on this repeal nonsense. Thirty three million lose health insurance.

Message from McConnell, Trump, and the entire Repuglican Congressional Caucus to Americans dependent on the ACA:

DIE!

"There is a large majority in our conference that want to demonstrate to the American people that they intend to keep the commitment they made in four straight elections to repeal Obamacareā€¦ā€

Which American people exactly, you asshole? Your ultra-wealthy donors? Crazy Tea Party idiots? Christ on a cracker, if I had one good shot at punching this man in the wattle…

I could see him being dumb and spiteful enough to forget that she’s the one with the money.

Anyway, it seems at this point he’s just doing it out of spite, mad that his own Senate hates him and just wants to make this as painful as possible. If this flops then they can say good-bye to any major legislation until 2019

Is there kompromat on handsome Mitch? I thought the Senate Majority Leader was supposed to be as powerful as the President and the Chief Justice-- seems kinda strange the way he rolls over and shows his belly to Trump.
