One man’s “good man” is another man’s racist cracker…

Guy who was too racist a couple of decades ago is now “honest” and “fair” (i.e., all “white”) by McTurtle.

Seems to be some cognitive dissonance going on here…

Sessions and McConnell really care about the Blacks–They just don’t want them to vote or get too uppity.

It’s been tough to watch all this good man has been put through in recent weeks.

And it made my blood boil to watch all #StillMyPresident had been put through for the full eight years because of you fuckin lying corrupt turtle, for no other reason than him being a Democrat AND black.

In other words, he defends his kindred spirit.

Yes and apparently the nice folks in Alabama have no problem with Sessions past and current views on anything, but Mitchy doesn’t understand that a larger portion of US citizens are not OK with his past, present, and certainly future views. Let Alabama keep their cracker champion, but the rest of us demand better from the US Attorney General.

Having a GOP’er from Kentucky defending a GOP’er from Alabama on their civil rights credibility is, well, laughable…

While I am not a violent person by nature, I am suppressing the urge to wish for a violent coronary or a cerebral hemorrhage to strike Yertle very soon. He is a despicable, hypocritical, lying POS. Thanks, Kentucky, for sending this pile of rat droppings to the Senate.

McConnell shit in his own mess kit. Really, really stupid move, but it does lay bare his “proclivities.”

“We all know our colleague from Alabama. He’s honest. He’s fair. He’s been a friend of many of us on both sides of the aisle.”

Has anyone ever heard this about Sessions? I know there are some hard right-wingers like Orrin Hatch that have unusual friendships with Democrats, but everything I’ve heard indicates that Sessions is the opposite - he’s widely disliked by Dems and epitomizes the Senate’s trend against comity.

It’s really because they’re SCARED SHITLESS of her —

excerpt …

So what exactly is the deal here? How is it possible that Warren was censored for the remaining 30 hours of debate while two other Democrats get to read the exact same document she was rebuked for reading? Of course, its easy to assume that this is yet another flagrant example of the racism and misogyny of the GOP leadership; and make no mistake, it most certainly is. But it also suggests something that we’ve suspected all along—that the Republican leadership is absolutely scared shitless of Elizabeth Warren.

Muzzling Warren for reading a document of historical importance and relevance seems like a very big step over the line for McConnell and his gang. Should there not be some show of protest and solidarity by the entire Democratic caucus? I can’t believe that the majority of the American people would approve of the Republicans’ undermining debate in “the world’s greatest deliberative body,” as they seem fond of calling themselves out of habit rather than respect for accuracy.
