Good, I hope, Gorsuch will feel the need to show he is not a tool, one day…

New Bucketlist item: Live long enough to urinate on Mitch McConnell’s grave.

If he can piss on the Constitution and his oath of office I can feed the grass over his face; turnaround being fair play and all.

As if that will ever happen.

First order of the next Democratic Congress with a Democratic President should be to impeach the illegitimate Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch.

ETA: I’m still waiting for SCJ Thomas to have his #metoo moment. Should have been impeached a long time ago.

This has all the look of a quid pro quo to it.

I feel the same way about Mitch, but he’s going to play scorched-earth, win-at-all-costs, hardball politics as long as he has power. That won’t change, get over it. The thing that’s changeable is mobilizing votes against the crooks and liars.

To my dying day, I will never understand how or why the Democrats, from Obama on down, let him get away with this.

Extremely dangerous to the Republic.

What would you suggest they do? Just asking. They who have the power, write the rules.

When Drumpster Fire is exposed, humiliated and removed from office, the honorable thing would be for Gorsuch to announce that he will retire at the end of SCOTUS term just before the next election.

My dream… Democrats take the Senate in 2018, refuse to confirm any Trump judicial appointments since, after all, there’s a Presidential election less than two years away.

Just saying man, you are going to need to get in line.

Pointed out that what McConnell was doing was an abrogation of his duty.

Schumer and the other Democrats in the Senate could have refused to conduct any Senate business whatsoever until Garland was at least given a hearing.

Obama could have pounded a podium and done so every single day his nominee was being denied a hearing.

Finally, Obama, and everyone else for that matter could have played the race card. That he was being denied the opportunity to have his nominee get a fair hearing based on what? When was the last time that ever happened? What else is different about this president that such a thing would never have happened before? I wonder…hmmm…

Since Thomas – and Alito and Roberts as well IMO – lied to the Senate at his confirmation hearing one would think it not too big a stretch to remove him (or them).

If Gorsuch had any honor he would never have accepted the nomination in the first place.

Until the Democrats decide to be as unscrupulous as the GOP in some instances (like the all-important SC), this will continue. The GOP doesn’t BLINK when it comes to seizing power any way necessary. They don’t care, know that the public is a bunch of ignoramuses, and the Dems are spineless. This makes me sick and Gorsuch should certainly be on notice for impeachment when Dems control all three branches again. Even if it is a futile attempt … goddammit, enough is fucking enough.

McConnell and his ilk have gone full-on Bolshevik, the ends justify the means, no cooperation, no trust, ANYTHING to stay in power. We’ve got to defeat them, take back at least one house of Congress, in order to save this democracy. I used to believe these kinds of thoughts were hyperbolic. I don’t any more.

Don’t impeach–expand the Court.
