How about you do some actual work for a change you loser? God but I’m sick of the GOP.
You do that, jacko
This from the representative of the party which thinks its job is to shut the whole government down.
“Appropriate measures”–that means “nothing,” right?
Yes. Yes, the fire needs moar gasoline.
Given that a majority of Americans favor stricter gun control …
Please, please do. It will keep the conversation about WHY the Democrats sat in for the first place – rampant gun violence the the Republican opposition to stopping it.
Right on, you little pricks. Don’t do FK ALL for the country. Don’t legislate. Whine. Snivel. We’ll see you in November.
“This is the People’s House”
So do the damn people’s business.
By the way, welcome back from your seven-week vacation.
Ya know, I have such contempt and so little basic respect for the mainstream media or their ability to do anything resembling what they get paid to do that I have no faith such a move would actually hurt Republicans. Instead of their “appropriate measures” backfiring and being seen as petty and mean spirited, I have no doubt the Chuck Todds of the world will simply trot out some time a century ago when some Democrats suggested “appropriate measures” against a Republican who did something far, far more sinister. Sigh.
Appropriate measures? Like holding hearings and passing legislation and not shutting down government for one. McCarthy ought to look at the scars on Rep. Lewis’ skull before he goes into some cheap blow dryer version of Bull Connor.
McCarthy: Because of the Dem Sit-In, we will have another Benghazi hearing. Hillary will be subpoenaed.
Knock yourself out, weirdo.
McCarthy is a dim bulb.
I give the Dems a lot of credit considering what they had to work with.
I mean it’s really hard to have an effective “sit in”, when there’s no actual work that ever gets done.
Since before Katrina, I’ve thought that the message that Dems should pound about Reps is that they are Unfit to Govern.
Policies, whatever.
Ideas, who cares?
Even if you happen to hold conservative beliefs, you can’t trust Republicans to implement them. Everywhere they are given power, they create a circus.
“The people’s house” is a place to conduct the people’s business. Not punish those who disagree with you and force you to work for a change.
After a 7-year sit-in by the GOP House, the GOP members freak over a few hours by the Dems.
Can’t interfere with that comity.
