House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) . . . was ultimately ignored
Makes for a good tombstone engraving, Kev.
I’d say members of society could pitch in and contribute money and help to those most adversely affected by the loss of health insurance. But that would be socialism, so, nah.
“Should have earned that million before you were five, Tiny Tim. Look what your slacker ways have wrought you.”
Well drump just has to try, because its something Obama did, and he just can’t stand not to try to take it away because of that, no matter how much damage it causes his own party or people if he wins.
I would really like to see Trump punch himself in the face repeatedly!
Now that Donnie’s Nobel Prize has gone down the crapper, this was inevitable…
Weird. You pitched the careful strategic argument to Dear Leader and he didn’t buy in?
Huh. Gosh.
At least Tiny Tim’s situation can serve as an example and a warning for others, so his suffering will not have been in vain…

The NYT said:
Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff and former South Carolina congressman, had spent years in the House saying that the health law should be repealed, and his handpicked head of the Domestic Policy Council, Joe Grogan, supported the idea of joining a Republican attorneys general lawsuit to invalidate the entire Affordable Care Act.
The GOP better hope this doesn’t get through the courts. People are going to expect to see that Awesome Replacement Plan if it does.
I bet McCarthy forgot the flashcards.
Shouldn’t those pages be labeled “Thoughts” and “Prayers”?
Those blank pages reveal all the A’s & B’s Trump received in college.
I keep Facebook just so I can see what my Congressman posts. Everyday it is blame the Democrats. Today was more of the same. Almost every response told him to own up and stop the blame game. The most stunning thing is the trumpers are completely silent. None of the regulars are bashing the liberals.
“McCarthy Unsuccessfully” should be the accepted beginning of any TPM article about Rep. Kevin McCarthy.
Hmm, combining the plan with a copy of “Deep Thoughts By Donald Trump” is actually a pretty clever marketing ploy. I imagine it will double the number of people who’s want a copy (and this way, the two of them can’t share, so they’re sure to sell two copies…)
“It’s the dumbest thing I have ever heard,” a senior Republican aide told the Post. “It is the equivalent of punching yourself in the face repeatedly.”
If you (whoever you are) realllly believe this, then grow a spine and publicly stand up to Trump!
how did this week start off?
They can’t.
Their base is his base and his fans are into primaries.
