As a side note, it’s interesting what’s considered “essential” services versus “nonessential” under a government shutdown. Seems to me paying government workers for their hard work and contributions to America’s wellbeing should be considered essential. Who decided stealing their paycheck is okay? Paychecks deferred are paychecks stolen. No Wall Streeter would accept this for himself.
