A small group of crazy people have one of the 2nd Amendment guns pointed at our collective heads. Since there is nothing they value, they are completely willing to blow our heads off to try to get what they want, even if none of the rest of us want to go along with them.

I don’t mind them hitting rock bottom, although thus far they’ve always managed to continue digging thereafter. What I object to is that they are taking all of us down with them. If you want to go…go! Just don’t destroy life for the rest of us on your way down!

By “Rock Bottom” he means having a raging asshole/moron like Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House.
In a Bizzaro-World twist, to be Speaker of the House you DO NOT have to be a member of the House!
It is actually possible that they could nominate and ELECT someone like, say DICK CHENEY or MITT ROMNEY as Speaker! (the second in line of succession to the Presidency.)

This may be fun to watch (in a slow train-wreck sort of way) but real people will get real hurt by this insanity.
The rest of the world looks on and just slowly shake their heads in disbelief.
This reminds me SO MUCH of the fight among all the zealot factions in Monty Python’s “The Life of Brian” as they ALL try to kidnap the Governor’s Wife at the same time, and end up fighting among themselves as the Roman Guards look on in disgust and just shake their heads at their stupidity.

The practical Keynesian economist whacks the wild-haired one, and reminds of the real and fast pain, particularly for working people, associated with financial crisis and a second dip into deep recession.
