Secret ballot, so probably hasn’t been released yet.

“Sahil Kapur contributed reporting”

The question I have is why does it take 2 reporters to write three sentences? Did one type the punctuation, and the other the letters??

My internal polling showed Labrador with a clear lead, 147% to 16%. I’ll post my analysis and cross-tabs later. It will become clear why my polling was off. I think maybe some non-Representatives snuck into the chamber and voted.

Any sense of how close it was?

Wow. I was on the edge of my seat.

Different face. Same dick.

Excellent.
Now, lets all just sit back and munch popcorn while the brown shirts over on RedState, and Breibart, and NWD froth at the mouth and attack him as a RINO/Communist/In league w/the Obama-Devil/TRAITOR to THEIR God-fear’n, Gun-f’n, White, Christian (in their minds only) ways.

Back in my Federal bureaucrat days (in the Pleistoscene Era), we had an expression about changes of administration:

Same circus, different clowns.

Eh, he can have the shiny new toy until January, when the House of Reprehensibles gets taken over by more rational individuals and he maybe gets to be the Minority House leader.

I’ll wait and see (after, of course, I vote).

Except that, as a representative of big ag in California, he wants immigration reform, though he can’t say it out loud very often.

He has come off as sorta, kinda, maybe for immigration. On the other hand, he’s said to be a workaholic with boatloads of ambition, so it all depends on where the yellow brick road leads.

I agree, same old, same old. The republican house would want to spend millions or even billions on more war in Iraq, but won’t help Americans here by passing unemployment extension insurance that thousands have been waiting for over a year.

The tea pottiers don’t seem to be as powerful as their acolytes on Fox Not Really News claim.

So the marginally less stupid guy won?
