OK Iâm just a simple country boy who doesnât always see whatâs behind the Washington shadow puppetry but this sure seems like a giant âfuck youâ to Trump and an effort to get the current intelligence communityâs views on this shit into the record before the new gang comes in.
McCainâs way of announcing that he wonât be running again.
(And the spittle-flecked tweets Trump is about to unleash should be pricelessâŚ)
In addition to Clapper Gramps should call Rudy Giuilani since Rudy has deemed himself the resident expert on Russian hacking and how âpoliticizedâ the intelligence folks are. After all, his boss knows more than they do right off cuz of his bigly brain that can barely be contained in his skull itâs so bigly âŚbelieve me, I guarantee it personally.
Sheesh!!!
Wait⌠McCain just won re-election. Heâs in for 6 more years of Sunday TV hob nobbing with Senator Graham. Pretty soon theyâll hafta wheel him around in a wheelchair as heâll be close to 90 soon.
Your move, Twitter Boy.
McCainâs mother went to well over 100. McCain could be a Senator when Chelsea Clinton is in her 2nd term as President.
So Iâm guessing calling McCain a âloserâ for being a POW didnât exactly warm his heart? The senior senator from Arizona is seriously lacking in so many areas, but fighting with Orange Julius Caesar is certainly a step in the right direction. Most Congressional hearings are all show and no blow, but this one may be interesting. And as @darrtown pointed out, short of death or resignation, McCainâs seat is safe for the next six years.
As CNN pointed out, this hearing marks a major divide already between President-elect Donald Trump, who has said it was time to âmove onâ from the election, and members of his own party who have advocated for a tougher posture towards Russia.
The last time that there was such a disconnect between Trump and the modern day GOP, it involved Billy Bush, a Nancy OâDell statement and Paul Ryan constantly referring to Trump as âthe candidateâ.
NahâŚtoo earlyâŚ
Maybe not. I think his POW years could be as central to McCainâs idea of himself as being a pseudo-billionaire is to Trumpâs. And maybe dismissing that will prove fatal to the Trump presidential effort in the long run after all. Remember his long slide after attacking the Khans? Itâs kind of an Achillesâ heel for him.
Canât wait to see what Fox uses as its counterprogramming. Canât let word of this seep into the echo chamber âŚ
A reasonable thought but because his mom was long lived doesnât mean he will be.
@darrtown AZ state law does allow for recall of ANY state official including those elected to Congress.
https://ballotpedia.org/Laws_governing_recall_in_Arizona
If the Orange Wonderâs kitchen cabinet decides McCain is fired for disrespecting his âauthoritahâ, expect a lot of Justice Department career employees to fall on their swords
Recall how red my state is. Weâve had a GOP majority in both state chambers since 1969 and itâs not likely to change for at least a decade, if not longer. And currently we have a governor made in the mold of Sam Brownback. And the majority of our Congresscritters are foaming at the mouth GOPers (Trent Franks for example)
McCain has always prided himself as being a âmaverick,â a dubious claim, but now is the time for him to truly solidify his claim and show his independence and principles.
Chinaâs unleashed this which is priceless. It celebrates the coming Year of The Rooster. Designed by a guy from Seattle who said it was way more yuge than he expected.
Playing his " part " ⌠Hopefully he doesnât forget his " lines " â
[ spoiler alert ] ⌠finale is undramatic â
So itâs release the Maverick time? Let the Maverick loose to maverick around the town?

That is incredible and awesome!
Obvious how the Chinese are seeing all this.
Iâd die laughing if it wasnât us who are being mocked.
