Vladimir Putin is a bigger threat than Isis, John McCain says
Republican also says he is concerned by reports Jared Kushner discussed setting up a secret communications channel between Moscow and Trumpâs team

âI donât like it, I just donât,â McCain told Australian outlet ABC. âI know some administration officials are saying this is standard procedure. I donât think itâs standard procedure prior to the inauguration of the President of the United States by someone who is not in an appointed position.â
Yes! Itâs troubling! Concerning, even! And McCain is a Serious Person.
âBut, when push comes to shove Iâll still be a reliable vote for Prez. Kompromatâs nominees, budget, tax reform and health care repeal.â
Iâve seen this tap dance far too many times to have any interest in it.
Itâs like he has just one step that he repeats ad nauseam. You think that next step is coming, but it never does.
Just curiousâŚwhyâs he saying this to an Australian news outlet. Doesnât he get enough play on our Sunday morning shows playing the character of Washington Wise Man â˘?
Au contrere, John frere. Kushnerâs gambit is a âstandardâ by which future outrages can be measuredâfor treasonous intent.
Imagine that: we were promised âhuge,â âamazing,â âtremendousâ and âfantastic,â and now we canât even get up to the level of âstandard.â Somebody ought to be fired.
And if the Russians manage to take complete control of the U.S., McCain, Graham, Collins, Gorsuch and the rest of the GOP cabal will be vying with one another to see who is the most âdistressed and heartbrokenâ. If only someone would have done somethingâŚ
I admit that playing âconnect-the-dotsâ can be difficult, for instance, if the finished image turns out to be a shovel. Complex shapeâ
But to not connect point A to point B, you really are trying not to, eh?
When I think of McCain, Iâm reminded of this friend who was looking at the diplomas on the wall of his dentistâs office. When he mentioned to his dentist he noticed he was ranked 712th in a graduating class of 712, the dentist shrugged philosophically and said, âWell, somebody has to come in last.â
Exactly how I feel about McCain et al. Iâm tired of it.
I donât think itâs standard procedure prior to the inauguration of the President of the United States by someone who is not in an appointed position
And it is NEVER standard procedure at ANY time by ANYONE to set up a clandestine channel using an adversaryâs communication gear at its diplomatic facility to shield their communication from their own government. What is this old man talking about?
Funny you should mention that:
McCain graduated from the Naval Academy in June 1958; he was fifth from the bottom in class rank, 894th out of 899.
Heâs dancing like crazy.
Asked about allies concernsâ about international security with Trump at the helm, McCain conceded that he was ânervous from time to timeâ , but praised the presidentâs national security team.
⌠and shocked. Shocked as in no one could imagine, anticipate or prevented these Russian operatives in the WH.
@daveminnj - you probably already know this but McCain ranked 4th or 5th from the bottom of his class of approx. 880 at the Naval Academy.
and @mattinpa beat me to it!
We may never be able to prove it but if the claim that Kushner suggested using secret Russian communication means he should be thrown out of the White House on his ass!
The GOP is a corpse of a political party in the last stages of putrefecation. And the carrion beetles are well in the way of finishing the work of decomposition.
The reviews are so good
Not when it came to tipping, he didnât.
Sure, but that doesnât mean that some new zombie will arise, redolent with fascism and rue.
