Discussion: McCain: Jon Stewart 'Gets Away With' Being 'Absolutely Wrong' (VIDEO)

Give us an example of him being “absolutely” wrong, McWalnuts.

The old coot is projecting again. He hasn’t been right about anything in years.

Be sure to trust old (literally) John–It’s 2008 and “the economy is in great shape”–McCain. He’s a straight talker (with a crooked tongue).

I laugh at the whole subtext of this interview, and especially that of the chyron in the image for this article. Fox and the Foxheads are still smarting over the results of the 2008 and 2012 elections, and they’re still trying to deconstruct what happened and find some kind of silver lining to make themselves happier. I mean, why else keep trotting out this feckless geezer weekend after weekend who is going nowhere politically? Talk about not letting go and living in the past…good grief.

This from the Senator who was unsure of how many houses he and his wife owned. Enough said!

McCain’s just bent out of shape because Stewart realized that the Senator was going south, mentally, and quit giving him a platform to spew his BS. Actually, Stewart may have done it as a favor to McCain … but obviously it was missed as McCain has yet to see an open mike or camera which didn’t absolutely require his attention.

Oh, and as for when this occurred … sometime before McCain woke up and thought Palin was the best choice for our country.

John “Always Wrong” McCain.

"Like, oh, well, we wanted to leave a force behind in Iraq, but the Iraqis wouldn’t take it. That’s just wrong.”

Okay, I’ll bite: What is his definition of fact?

It’s good that Mr. McCain finally got a chance to offer up his point of view on a network news-talk show to. After all, he never gets a chance to counter the liberal bias.

John McCain, “YOU KIDS GET OFF MY LAWN!!!”

Do you mean being a shitty soldier and crashing airplanes or lying about political positions that would have destroyed the world or economy or picking an insane grossly unqualified person as his running mate? Or being Butters’ ballroom dancing partner?

There’s always puppet McCain.

Incredible. Someone like Kurtz who whores himself to the GOP at every opportunity has the temerity to demand equal time for Republican viewpoints from Jon Stewart.

Most of Stewart’s railing on Republicans isn’t really anything Stewart himself says. For the more poignant things, It’s usually just Stewart running clips of Republicans letting the stupid crawl out of their own mouths. I’m not sure what point McCain’s trying to make here.

“McCain acknowledged that point, and casually noted that Stewart gets away with errors.”

So, it looks like the GOP is a good teacher; McCain a perfect example of getting away with errors. Come on, Arizona – you can do better!

You need to look in the mirror old man. You are ALWAYS absolutely wrong!!

It has gotten to the point, when your lips are moving…you are wrong!

I’m late to this topic, but I was going to ask the same question.
In all seriousness, there must be an example out there.

Yet another clue that you’ve overstayed your welcome – you’re debating with comedians

Take the clue, John.

Old man yelling at clouds.

““He’s a comedian,” McCain said.”

I knew it was bugging you as to what you and John Stewart had in common, what made the bulb click on ?

From the expert on getting it wrong by practice.
