definitely. I know that Stewart can be a bit hyperbolic at times, and exaggerate quite a bit, but he’s never been flatly wrong and never corrected himself.
How far has Kurtz fallen that McCain, a frequent target of Jon Stewart, says no big deal but the Fox News host whines incessantly about him. (Although I think Kurtz is really angling to be noticed by the producers and invited onto the Daily Show.)
I would say Kurtz has drunk the Fox Kool-Aid, but I think his right-wing leanings were always there. He just had to keep them under check more at the WashPost and CNN.

Jeepers, Sen. McGrumpy’s claim about Jon Stewart is lacking in any specifics. How many times has the Senator confessed his own errors? 1…2…3…don’t hold your breath.
Jon Stewart is a comedian. By definition, accuracy is not what he’s supposed to be about.
But despite that, Jon Stewart is still correct and accurate far more often than John McCain ever has been on any subject.
When someone knocks on Johnny Walnuts’ door and he opens it to see Jason Jones standing there, our friend from Arizona may regret making these remarks.

exactly, wiscojoe. I was thinking the same thing when I read the one supposed “example” McCain gave of the media being “wrong.” Facts are, both Bush and Obama rejected the conditions Iraq set for a residual force, plus constantly made complaints that they didn’t want any residual force anyway. Bush was the one who actually set the terms under which Obama withdrew.
