Talk is cheap, Senator. Push publically for your colleagues in the House to investigate. Put your GD country first for the first time in 50 years.

So Senator McCain, can we trust that you will back a wide and penetrating investigation into this WH? Most specifically, what PeePee knew, when he knew it, and what would lead people to posit that Flynn was “susceptible to blackmail?”

Or will Party trump Country?

Sharpening the knives? Because the knives will come out, eventually. They’ll cut Trump as soon as keeping him in no longer serves their agenda.

McCain: Flynn Incident Raises Questions About WH ‘Intentions’ Toward Russia

Trump: No questions. I owe Russia everything, including my being POTUS. I give them what they want. Also, they have PeePee video.

His colleague, the Republican Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes, two hours before the NYT and WP broke the story on that forced Mike Flynn out of government:

“It just seems like there’s a lot of nothing here.”

If this is an example of Republican oversight and leadership when it comes to National Security then the United States is in grave and imminent peril.

Flashback:

“I will be voting in favor of his nomination. I have had numerous conversations with him. And, again, my concerns have been about our relations with Russia,” McCain said in the interview.McCain added that his decision to vote for Tillerson “was not an easy call."“But I also believe that, when there’s doubt, the president, the incoming president, gets the benefit of the doubt,” McCain said.

It was just a few weeks ago. I won’t give a fuck to that old man until and unless he walks the walk.

Chaffetz: Democrats will have to wait till they gerrymander various states and win the House to investigate Trump.

And yet Senator you keep voting for all his corrupt or unqualified cabinet picks. So you don’t mind if I think your concern is nothing more than hot air.
