The American people are about to be tortured for 4 years (that is, if Drumpf lasts that long).
And the last shreds of moral ascendency are seen fluttering away in the breeze…
Oh, I see. When it’s one of Sideshow Bob’s schemes you can’t foil it fast enough. But because when it’s done by a total loser of the popular vote and someone actually hated by his own party, “It’s fluttering away in the breeze!”
That’s a snowflake statement if there ever was one.
Call your reps. Don’t email them. Don’t tweet. Call them once a day, every day to let them know you are pissed about X bill or X commandment. You will see them start to flutter in the breeze once it shifts direction.
He plans on dying in office. Remember, this is also the guy that voted against the MLK holiday. He’s never changed. He talks big shit but his own party doesn’t even believe he’ll ever follow through. That’s why all these years they’ve never had respect for him. I think stupid Democratic politicians have had more respect for McWar, due to his POW status, but he’s never stood up to his own party…ever. Not when it really counted. He just voted for Tillerson, as did Graham Cracker and No-spine Rubio. These people are frauds. Their only objective every couple of years is to stay rich, by profiting off of being in Congress, and getting re-elected. That’s it.
I shouldn’t laugh at the Depends joke, but these are desperate times that call for desperate humor.
if there is one issue on which McCain has credibility, it is this one. At least give him credit for standing up against torture consistently.
Spineless traitor born with a silver spoon up his ass says what?
Fuck You, Sid McCrashcup!
“We are not bringing back torture in the United States of America.”
Why do I think he meant to say "“We are not bringing torture to the United States of America yet.”?
The Senate confirmed Mike Pompeo, President Donald Trump’s pick for CIA director, on Monday night. The
vote was 66-32 in favor of confirmation, with Pompeo picking up some
Democratic backing. The only Republican in opposition was Sen. Rand
Paul.
McCain couldn’t be bothered to vote against the guy who’s going to be responsible for torturing.
Trump has announced—more than once—that he want to bring back waterboarding, which is banned by US law, by all of the Geneva Conventions, and by international law.
Trump has also announced that he wants the CIA “black sites” prisons to reopen.
So, yeah, Grampy McPlaneCrash, he does want to bring back torture.
Darth: Old fool can Cheney himself.
Johnny, you may want to talk to trump about that since he has said quite a bit about torture. None of it good.
While Grampy McPlaneCrash is “taking people to court” Rump would have ALREADY ordered his maniacs to torture people. And as Sen. McPlaneCrash knows all too well, when the damage is done it’s done. The point is to stop the torture BEFORE it gets to that point.
Good comment. There does seem to be a pattern developing…
It’s really too bad that so many ignored that simple fact: Elections.Have.Consequences.
McCain will fold inside two weeks, just like last time.
If there’s anyone personally familiar with torture it would be McCain considering that when he was shot down he broke a lot of bones and as they began to heal the N. Vietnamese would just break em again. I’m not talking fingers here. It’s why Gramp’s shoulders don’t work so well and it’s why he limps. The chronic pain may explain his famously short temper as well. This is one subject McCain is an expert on.
Yeah. That Mavericky bullshit is and was just branding, like those Five Gilded Letters on some gaudy skyscraper hotel or tax-deferred golf course, and a bankrupt company selling bottles of water and piles of e-coli tainted steaks, or brochures of a legally determined fraudulent University. But ‘branding’ will only get you so far…
wait a sec. mccain or his flunkies never leak anything…what?..oh…uh…nevermind.
“The President can sign whatever executive orders he likes. But the law is the law,” - McCain
The law was also the law in 2002, until Bush the Lesser had John Yoo write a memo to properly interpret the law.
“It’s like déjà vu all over again.”
i thought rudy got the job of head torturer.
