The interests of America are not that important when billions of dollars of personal income from the authoritarian monarchs of Saudi Arabia and UAE are flowing. Cuck Kushner is happy to go to war against Qatar, a country that is headquarters of Central Command, because they did not give him a $500 million dollar loan. In contrast, the crown prince of the UAE gave the Republican Party fundraising chair $200 million dollars and have promised to funnel the Republican Party $2 billion dollars more.
An espionage indictment or two (of anyone) would likely permanently knock back GOP criticism of Mueller. This is the indictment I’m looking forward too.

It’s very good that national security experts like McCaffrey and Brennan are finally stating what’s been painfully obvious for months: The most plausible explanation for Trump’s actions and inaction is that he’s in Putin’s pocket. Along with pushing positive messages and policies, the Democrats should be making a very big issue of this in the lead-up to the November elections, both through campaigning and through other steps. They should make the Republicans come down on one side or the other of whether Trump is guilty of dereliction of duty in protecting our democracy, power grid and national security. It’s not a matter of political grandstanding; it’s a matter of our national self-interest.

I’m a firm believer in due process, but on occasions like this -where incalculable damage is being done to American interests while the wheels of justice grind slowly away - I wish there was another, much quicker way.
I suppose Kushner losing his clearance is a start, but I fear he’s found a workaround. May he follow in his father’s footsteps.
