There is information about Comey—not a survey, but emails released pursuant to an FOIA request, showing massive support for Comey after the firing. You should be able to find this by searching with Benjamin Wittes’s name.
No, no, no Mr. McCabe - you never say that his words were hurtful! You say that you and your family “consider the source”, you refer to him as a mental midget, easily manipulated senile old fool who conspired with a foreign adversary to steal an election for an illegitimate win. You remind people of his multiple bankruptcies and that no reputable financial institution, or attorney, will have anything to do with him because he lies, cheats and steals. Sprinkle the words “traitor” and “treason” liberally in your public comments, allude to his residence and office being bugged and his closest allies as intelligence plants. Mention that “at least one” member of his immediate family has already flipped and given away the farm. Let him guess which one. Call him a pig-eyed sack of shit (okay, I admit that I added that last one for my own benefit…)
Don’t let him think he hurt or humiliated you - that’s feeding the beast. Instead, undermine, humiliate and hurt him as the bald, fat, ignorant piece of shit he is.

I would think that McCabe, unlike the wild eyed combative, yet snowflakey, lefties, like you and I, has a good lawyer who has told McCabe to appeal to the public’s sense of fairplay.
Now what he says in private? I wouldn’t be surprised if Mrs. McCabe has had to have had the wallpaper replaced.
