We need a lot more politicians calling things like this dumb. We also need politicians (of all kinds) calling the push to take away rights from others immoral, too. They need to have some courage and be plain about it.

My understanding is Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio are also blue islands. I’m more interested in bluing Texas than in ridiculing it. Not all the gullible righties falling for this are in Texas, if that helps. What will really help is to register some more new voters.
