You think New York has bad values?
Well, once I paid too much for a DSLR Camera at one of the New York online camera stores. Could have gotten a better deal in Los Angeles.

In Texas, we can have open carry. You can’t even have a weapon in New York City, you’d be arrested.

He’s right. New York values are far superior to Iowa values. New Yorkers believe in the Constitution- equal protection for all and reasonable limits on all amendments including the second.

It used to be New York values was a code word for the Jewish vote, now it is code for liberals. I was born in NY but now live in the South but I took my New York frame of mind with me.

I wish we would stop describing blatant, contemptuous lying as “spin.”
If “New York values” wasn’t meant as an insult, they wouldn’t be accusing their opponent of possessing “New York values.”
If you list off all the things you oppose – some of which you’ve compared to a modern-day f’ing holocaust – and call them “New York Values,” then you’re saying that “New York Values” are bad.
What’s sad is that the obvious answer to “Who do you think you’re fooling” is “The rubes that are going to vote for us.”

Iowa and the general midwest. A real New Yorker wouldn’t be caught dead in that situation.
What’s funny is that I usually have a hard time distinguishing between Rep Steven King of Iowa and Rep Peter King of Long Island, NY. They are both republican right wingnuts, so why is the Cruz spokesman dissing a fellow conservative republican? It ain’t right to kick members of your own team.
“New York Values”: Dog whistle for “all them Jews, Nigras and Spicks”.
When I was stationed in the south, “New Yorkers” was shorthand for Jews whom they despised.
