Discussion: Mass Murderer Makes Nazi Salute At Start Of Court Case In Norway

Discussion for article #247396

It’s an interesting case for those of us who support prison reform - one of the worst humans alive meets the world’s most lenient corrections system, and still doesn’t find it sufficiently humane. I consider myself pretty left-wing, but who out there is so far to the left as to agree that, yeah, this virtual vacation home is too harsh for someone who murdered nearly a hundred people?

I think he’s just giving a shout-out to Trump.

Trump: I need him in my rallies. He can teach the proper etiquette to my supporters and will scare the protestors away as well.

No sympathy- Norway was occupied by the Nazis in WWII- this stunt is going to backfire.

Nativist Right politicians and parties on are the rise across Europe and here in the U.S. This man’s salute will be met with more sympathy and agreement than you think. If “Fascism” procured a NYSE listing I’d be on the phone with my broker rather quickly.

I’m against the death penalty, but this guy really tests those beliefs. For him -an open and shut case - I would love to make an exception.

Ah, the kind of potential immigrant the flat earthers wouldn’t mind coming here. As white as he can possibly be.

You don’t have to give him the platform of assuming his beliefs are worth covering.

When I first saw that picture, I thought it was of Trump’s thug Lewandowski,

He’s using it as a teachable moment, just like that Trump supporter in St. Louis.

The reason his in isolation is for his own safety. Maybe they should grant his wish and just look the other way.

I am sure Donald Trump has a job for him.

Resentful, racist, gun nut, white guy willing to take on the liberals unable to defend themselves? Trump already promised to pay the legal bills of guys like this one,

In spite of the horrendous disposition of this animal, if we don’t begin to understand what role we as humanity have played in this aberration we are not worthy of the trust of G-d and so we suffer.
